Dear Dow Community! With heavy hearts, we want to share a tragic news our Dr Furqan Siddiqui a graduate of 1991 DUHS has left us today from dreadful novel COVID-19 in UK. We extend our deepest condolences to the family of Dr. Furqan Siddiqui, and colleagues for this irreparable loss. He has left six children, wife and parents behind him. He recently had moved to UK for Plastic surgery Locum. Furqan was well known as a dedicated physician, fighting for others on the front line against this pandemic outbreak of COVID-19 in a COVID unit. He got infected about a month ago and had been fighting for his own life. Dr Furqan Siddiqui was known to most of us as the most humble soul, had been involved in running many philanthropic activities in Pakistan. May his soul rest in peace and get the highest place in Heaven. May his family get the courage to bear with this irreparable loss. We should all stay united to support our fellow colleagues in this most difficult time of our lives, we are indeed becoming victims, while we are fighting against this disease.
